About Tamala Clarice

Born and raised in Jackson, MS, TamalaClarice’s discerning eye and love for fashion developed at a young age. She would always dress to impress for any occasion and study fashion magazines every week such as Vogue, Harper Bazar, and Check the Tag. In addition to her love for fashion, TamalaClarice possessed a strong background in dance for more than 13 years. After obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from Jackson State University, this fashionista decided to take her creativity to another level by entering the fashion world and setting career sights as a fashion stylist and style influencer.

TamalaClarice emerged as an intern with wardrobe stylist J. Bolin in her hometown. She then moved to Atlanta, GA where she took on another internship as an assistant wardrobe stylist with Dope Magazine. With her keen eye for detail and fresh approach to styling, TamalaClarice was accepted as a Professional Designated student at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) in Los Angeles, CA where she studied Visual Communications for Fashion. While attending FIDM, not only did she assistant celebrity wardrobe stylist Eric Burns, TamalaClarice soon became an assistant for Shateria Moragne-EL who is the CEO of the contemporary clothing line, Frontrow. She has also had the pleasure of assisting Beonica Dunn, Ilaria Urbinati, Damien Lloyd, Madison Guest and many more.

While advancing in her role of fabricating signature looks, the LA based upcoming and self-made entrepreneur has worked with models, artists and actors/actresses such as Gail Bean, Ashley Featherson, Eric Bellinger, Letoya Luckett, Ebonee Davis, FoggieRAW, Angie Thomas and more. She continues to inspire and motivate many supporters by documenting her latest styles. By sharing her inventive concepts and ideas, TamalaClarice has created her very own platform. She is a firm believer in taking risks and has an idea that fashion is not only art, but also a reflection of who you truly are. TamalaClarice’s uncanny ability to simultaneously predict trends while ascertaining individual style needs has catapulted her as a significant presence in the ever-changing industry.
